Job Summary

At Coleg Cambria, we place people at the very centre of everything we do. We are looking for an ambitious, proactive, and inspiring Academy Performance Coach to spearhead the prestigious PSG Academy football programme at our Deeside site.

You will bridge the gap between education and the sports industry, working with learners to provide impactful college and community coaching opportunities.

Essential Requirements
  • Level 2 Coaching qualification or working towards it
  • Previous experience coaching large groups of young children

Welsh Language skills are an essential requirement for this role. Candidates are required to have a Welsh Level of B2. However, applicants who are currently within one level of the required standard (B1) are also encouraged to apply on a "need‑to‑learn" basis, provided they demonstrate a clear commitment to achieving the necessary fluency.

Coleg Cambria is committed to supporting this growth through a tailored professional development plan. To ensure the right support is put in place, a Welsh Language skills assessment will form part of the selection process to identify your current competence, confidence, and suitability for a development plan.

Welsh skills are essential for this specific post. We are seeking candidates who can help us grow our bilingual provision and service.
