Teacher Active is proud to be working with an ALN school in Caerphilly, supporting with their recruitment for an ALN Learning Support Assistant. The setting is focused on pupils' development, supporting them to make progress academically while developing their emotional, social and behavioural skills.

The school is seeking a passionate ALN Learning Support Assistant to take on this short-term role, supporting pupils with Autism / ASD. The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant will be expected to adapt to pupils' individual needs, provide consistent classroom support and have a positive impact on the wider school.

The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant will have:

Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent
Experience working with children with additional learning needs and/or disabilities
Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD
Experience supporting challenging behaviours
Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
A patient, proactive and nurturing approach
