Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a Recruitment Consultant to oversee a busy and growing temp recruitment desk within our Education Division. This Recruitment Consultant role is focused on supplying Special Educational Needs schools as an on-framework-approved supplier across all LEAs in South East Wales. The Recruitment Consultant position is based in Caerphilly and offers a well-established desk with an instant stream of commission.
You’ll work a 4-day week but be paid for 5 days full-time, with either a Wednesday or Thursday off each week—ideal if you want a high-performing role without sacrificing work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and grow a busy temp desk within the Education Division as a Recruitment Consultant
- Identify and engage with new education clients (including SEN schools) across South East Wales
- Visit education settings to understand requirements and explain how we can support them
- Attract and match professionals to job requirements and ethos
- Advertise roles across job boards, social media, and relevant channels
- Proactively source candidates via referrals, database and social media
- Interview Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors and other education professionals
- Build strong relationships to drive repeat business and consistent candidate flow
- Proven track record in agency recruitment (ideally within education) as a Recruitment Consultant or B2B sales experience.
- Confident working in a 360 recruitment environment (client-facing and candidate-focused)
- Driven by a high-reward, commission-led structure and motivated to progress
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to targets in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a proactive, positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (car driver essential)
