- Full time, core business hours 9am-6pm Monday to Friday
Advanta is looking for an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster to join our growing UK team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong Liability Claims experience to become part of an international and dynamic organisation within the Insurance Market.
The RoleYou will be responsible for managing general insurance claims on a cradle-to-grave basis, handling a varied caseload while conducting site inspections, meetings, and interviews with Insureds, Insurers, Brokers, and other stakeholders. This UK-based role requires domestic travel for fieldwork across the country.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hands on loss adjusting for liability complex claims
- Overseeing claims handled by a small team
- Evaluate quantum by gathering relevant evidence, adjusting reserves
- Ensuring compliance with all service level agreements
- Management of own diary system
- Liaising with Advanta’s Head Office and UK property team to maintain high standards of work
- Participation in the growth of the Advanta business to include client liaison
- Assist the existing team with business development opportunities
Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK without restrictions.
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in liability loss adjusting
- Possess strong expertise in Property Owners Liability, Public Liability, Employers Liability, Product Liability, and General Liability claims
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the insurance market
- Are confident leading meetings and discussing claims with senior stakeholders
- Have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Are dynamic, flexible, and able to respond effectively to client needs and deadlines
- Hold, or are working towards, professional Loss Adjusting qualifications such as CILA or ACII
