Full Time - 36.50 hours/week (Monday to Thursday 8:30–16:30, Friday 8:30–12:30)
Contract:
24 months
Pay rate: up to £25.80 per hour
Minimum Salary Comparator: £47,615.00
Holiday: 33 days
Note:
New developed role with autonomy in supplier chain and world-class standards. Potential to go permanent.
Manufacturing environment experience is required. Main experience should be in compliance. SOX compliance experience is highly desirable. Auditing/compliance-based role. 3–5 years of experience. Pharmaceutical or public sector experience may have transferable skills. SAP advantages; intermediate Excel and PowerPoint. SAP internal system training will be provided. Strong understanding and previous experience using common supply chain systems.

Job PurposeResponsible for compliant practices within the Supply Chain function.
Identify and execute cross-department projects that contribute to improved accuracy, cost and process compliance.
Responsibilities- Create and execute robust audit plans across the supply chain department.
- Ensure procedural documents are current, in line with corporate requirements and adhered to.
- Ensure standard work is followed and challenged accordingly.
- Support compliance across the department and participate in audits.
- Facilitate compliance workshops to educate and improve the supply chain team.
- Work across the supply chain to implement robust self-auditing processes.
- Report measures and KPIs relating to compliance performance targets.
- Support plant level compliance activities.
- Coordinate multi-departmental teams to drive process improvements for inventory accuracy, cost and compliance.
- Present improvements to supply chain leaders.
- Coordinate compliance reviews across the supply chain to confirm processes align with procedural documents and corporate compliance processes.
- Carry out process audits and support areas to agree improvements and timelines.
- Identify process improvements and coordinate projects from concept to completion with cross-department contribution.
- Lead or facilitate activities such as:
- Review and develop supply chain procedural documents and propose changes targeting compliance and inventory effectiveness.
- Audit procedural documents across multiple departments.
- Audit process flow plans in all areas that impact inventory control.
- Produce and present compliance metrics.
- Act as process expert for compliance and inventory topics and changes.
- Deliver training across the supply chain on compliance and inventory effectiveness.
- Promote a compliance culture within the supply chain.
- Maintain a robust auditing process ensuring reviews occur within appropriate time frames.
- Challenge processes and practices to drive continuous improvement with a focus on compliance and inventory accuracy.
- Review inventory-related processes and develop plans to mitigate stock losses and inaccuracies that could affect production.
- Drive the compliance culture in production areas through project involvement.
Achieve corporate supply chain performance targets, including improvements in inventory accuracy, SOX compliance, supply chain assessments and the internal self-audit program.
Job Requirements- Strong understanding and experience with common supply chain systems.
- Ability to facilitate improvements by engaging with stakeholders and creating buy-in.
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive processes across multiple departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to creatively solve complex problems.
