The role carries responsibility for leading and growing the Project Management discipline as part of an integrated UK–India delivery model, contributing across the full project lifecycle—from early‑stage planning through design, construction, and closeout.

It provides strong exposure to UK projects and offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical capability, professional engagement with clients, and long‑term career progression within WSP’s global Project Management community.

  • Provide Project leadership to UK-based Projects across RIBA Stages 0 to 7, ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, programme, and quality standards.
  • Own and drive project planning, tracking, and monitoring activities to achieve successful outcomes across safety, cost, time, and quality.
2. Programme, Reporting & Controls
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and continual update of project programmes, risk registers, action trackers, and issue logs.
  • Monitor and report on key project performance metrics using WSP systems and agreed governance and reporting frameworks.
  • Drive the preparation and coordination of monthly progress reports, dashboards, meeting minutes, and supporting project documentation for UK project teams and clients.
3. Coordination & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead coordination across multidisciplinary teams, including design, commercial, planning, and construction stakeholders, to enable seamless and integrated project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication between UK and India teams, ensuring clear alignment on deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Lead the planning, organisation, and facilitation of project meetings, workshops, and reviews to support timely decision‑making and delivery.
4. Risk, Change & Quality Leadership
  • Lead the proactive identification, management, and escalation of risks and issues that may impact programme, scope, cost, or delivery commitments.
  • Manage change control processes, including tracking change actions, coordinating submissions and approvals, and leading impact assessments.
  • Drive quality assurance across projects by ensuring adherence to agreed processes, checklists, and WSP project delivery standards.
5. Health, Safety & Leadership
  • Lead and champion strong health, safety, and wellbeing practices across all Project Management commissions.
  • Embed WSP values in project delivery and ensure full compliance with corporate, project‑specific, and legislative requirements.
  • Own adherence to established project governance, QA/QC, and documentation standards, ensuring consistent and auditable delivery.
6. Professional Development & Capability Building
  • Lead continuous professional development by actively building expertise in UK Project Management standards, tools, and best practices.
  • Drive team collaboration, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to strengthen capability and maturity within the Project Management function.
