We are looking for experienced NDT Quality Control Welding Inspectors to work at our fully digital manufacturing plant in Deeside. The successful applicant(s) will join an experienced team of quality engineers and QC inspectors, working closely with technical and production departments in the manufacture of nuclear fabrications.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £27.07
, and with overtime (higher rate) opportunities, your earnings can increase significantly. For example, working just two hours of overtime from Monday to Thursday could boost your weekly pay by around 30%—and that’s without factoring in additional weekend overtime options. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and report quality issues and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear industry regulations and internal QA/QC procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices.
What You Will Bring:
  • CSWIP 3.1 certification with experience as a welding inspector.
  • Certification in PCN Level 2 MPI and PCN Level 2 DPI.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern welding procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ideally, previous experience as a time-served welder/fabricator or pipefitter.
