We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welding & Fabrication Engineer for our client.

Duties will include:

• Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, weld and fabricate metal components
• Perform MIG, MAG, TIG & MMA welding techniques to join metal parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Assemble structural steelwork and fabricated metal parts using mechanical knowledge
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet project specifications
• Carrying out all works to a high standard whilst complying with all relevant health and safety standards

The Person:

To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified and have proven, previous experience with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Welding & Fabrication Engineer Including:

• Proficient in MIG, MAG, TIG & MMA welding techniques and processes
• The ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively and safely
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
• Experience in fabricating metal components
• Mechanical knowledge for assembling metal parts
• Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Ability to read drawings and specifications
• A full driving license
