Join us as a Service Coordinator and play a vital role in ensuring outstanding customer service at a leading global distributor of chemicals and ingredients used in everyday products. This is a 6‑month contract with potential extension, based in Caerphilly, Wales (hybrid model, 3 days in office per week).

• Salary:

• Experience in customer service or administration, ideally in a commercial environment.
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, or warehousing highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication, confident working cross‑functionally.
• Highly literate and numerate, strong attention to detail.
• Basic Excel skills (data entry, filtering, simple formulas).

• Lead operational calls with Transport and Operations, align priorities, and tackle risks to keep OTIF performance on track.
• Investigate service escalations, uncover root causes of OTIF failures, and drive improvement initiatives.
• Spot emerging trends across critical customers and stock, translate insights into action and partner with Process Improvement.
• Share clear, proactive updates, support managers through change, and deliver training to embed new ways of working.
• Produce compliance‑friendly health‑check reporting and strengthen cross‑functional discipline.
