The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Key Account Manager – Procedural Solutions to accelerate sales growth, build high-trust customer relationships, and expand our market presence across an assigned UK territory.

This is a field-based role focused on new business development, strategic account management, and the delivery of value-based solutions within NHS and private healthcare settings. You will work closely with the Sales Management and Product Specialist teams to execute robust territory sales plans and achieve ambitious revenue targets.

You will be a results focused self starter who thrives on problem solving and relationship building that can translate clinical and operational needs into tailored commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, clinicians, procurement teams, and key opinion leaders.
  • Deliver sales growth across chosen specialties in collaboration with Product Specialists.
  • Execute the territory sales strategy to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability through pricing, product mix, and value-added solutions.
  • Understand customer-level cost-to-serve models and deliver win‑win commercial solutions.
  • Manage product introductions, presentations, negotiations, and contract renewals.
  • Prepare and manage tenders within required timelines.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM updates.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback, sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
About You

You will be a driven, customer-focused sales professional with experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector and a strong understanding of the NHS landscape.

  • Degree-qualified (Life Science or Business preferred)
  • 2–3 years’ successful medical sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Results‑driven, self‑motivated, and highly organised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Clinical background (ODA/ODP/Nursing advantageous)
  • Experience in Cath Lab, Vascular Access, Critical Care, or Renal markets
  • Knowledge of health economics and value‑based healthcare
  • Approximately 80% field‑based in hospitals and clinical settings
  • 20% administrative duties including planning, reporting, and CRM management
  • Extensive UK travel with regular overnight stays
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Attendance at conferences, exhibitions, and professional events
