At Househam Group Ltd, we are proud to be a leading UK manufacturer of advanced self-propelled crop sprayers. We’re seeking an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to expand our reach, strengthen customer relationships, and grow sales across the UK.
Role OverviewAs an Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and maximising sales within your territory while delivering an excellent customer experience. This role combines office-based tasks with customer-facing fieldwork and will involve regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Management: Identify and maximise sales of new and used self-propelled crop sprayers.
- Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing advice and instruction on the safe and efficient use of our products.
- Target Achievement: Strive to meet or exceed planned sales targets and goals.
- Quotations and Orders: Product accurate customer quotations and order confirmations.
- Event Attendance: Represent the company at UK shows and exhibitions and conduct customer factory visits as needed.
- Demonstrations: Plan and demonstrate machines efficiently in collaboration with the Senior Manager, including delivery and operation at customer premises.
- Trade-Ins: Provide accurate specifications, descriptions, and photographs of used machine trade-ins.
- Strong product knowledge in an agricultural environment
- Technical understanding of GPS and Precision Ag technology
- Target-driven and self-motivated
- Professional image with excellent face-to-face and digital communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of farming practices and agronomy
- Competence in operating agricultural machinery
- Willingness to undergo training for sales skills and product knowledge
- PA1 & PA2 certifications (advantageous)
