Business Development Manager; Marine

A leading marine company is seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mentality to drive new business growth across the UK. This role is ideal for a proactive, self‑driven sales professional with the confidence to open doors, build new relationships, and secure high‑value service, overhaul, and spare parts contracts.

• Hunting down new customers and turning cold leads into warm opportunities
• Selling marine engine services, overhauls, spare parts, and long‑term service agreements
• Meeting prospects across the UK — shipyards, ports, owners, operators, OEM partners
• Building relationships fast and handing over qualified opportunities for quoting
• Filling and managing a strong pipeline with disciplined CRM habits
• Representing the business at exhibitions, events, and customer sites

• A proven track record of winning new business in B2B sales
• Confidence to break into new markets and sectors
• Marine, offshore, or industrial background (ideal but not essential)
• Willingness to travel UK‑wide and make things happen
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
