Position: Mobile HGV Technician - £60k
Location: Bedwas

Mobile HGV Technician / Mobile Fleet Technician / Breakdown Technician – CF, NP & LD Areas – Class 1 – Up to £60k OTE

Mobile HGV Technician role covering Cardiff, Newport and Llanelli. £18+ph plus overtime, callout and standby bonuses. Company van and fuel card provided. Class 1 licence required.

CF, NP, LD postcode areas (Cardiff, Newport, Llanelli and surrounding South Wales)
Salary:
From £18 per hour depending on experience plus overtime, standby and callout bonuses – on target earnings up to £60,(Apply online only) per year

Hours:

40 hours per week, 24/7 on-call rota covering nights, weekends and holidays

Key responsibilities Mobile HGV Technician / Mobile Fleet Technician / Breakdown Technician

Rapid diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults on HGVs and light commercial vehicles
Attend and resolve roadside breakdowns and maintenance calls
Complete servicing and maintenance tasks to industry and safety standards
Keep accurate job records and maintain communication with control and customers
Adhere to strict health, safety and roadside safety procedures
Skills and qualifications Mobile HGV Technician / Mobile Fleet Technician / Breakdown Technician

Essential

Proven experience as an HGV or mobile fleet technician, mobile mechanic or breakdown technician
Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills for heavy and light commercial vehicles
Excellent roadside safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures
Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude
Current Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications (e.g. IMI, City & Guilds)
