Social Worker- Family and Friends Team - Caerphillly

Social Worker required to join the Friend and Family Team, based in Caerphilly. Competitive rates up to 38.66ph. Long term contracts offered in a well managed supportive team. Caerphilly is located in historic Glamorgan, famous for its castle and cheese, and borders beautiful Monmouthshire. 3 months initial contract 37 hours per week. Flexible hybrid working arrangements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker within the Family and Friends Team. The team work with children and their families where there is a court order in place for them to live with a family member ~ this could be a care order or a special guardianship order. The focus is to discharge Care Orders for PCCP and to secure an SGO instead of a Care Order at the right time for the children and their families.

There is a need to risk manage and support looked after children and promote and meet the needs of SGO households.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
