We are seeking dedicated Housing Support Workers to join a mental health service in Caerphilly. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on individuals' lives by providing essential emotional, practical, and social support. The Housing Support Worker will play a vital role in helping clients achieve recovery and independence within a supportive environment.

• Provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to discuss their feelings and experiences.
• Offer reassurance, active listening, and encouragement to promote self-esteem and confidence.
• Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, shopping, attending appointments, and medication routines.
• Support clients with managing finances, benefits, and bills.
• Help implement individual recovery plans in collaboration with mental health professionals.
• Encourage social inclusion by facilitating access to community resources and activities.
• Identify early warning signs of mental health deterioration and respond appropriately in emergencies.
• Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of clients and others.

• At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting.
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
