Software Engineer​/Developer

Location: Cagliari

STAM  is looking for a  Software Engineer/Developer  to join its office  Cagliari  within STAM’s Digital Solutions Business Area

MAIN ACTIVITIES
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated person, interested in the digital world at 360 degrees, willing to bring her/his own skills within the team and to gain further knowledge and skills related to development (frontend and backend) and design of web-based solutions, with involvement in:

All the phases of Software Development Life Cycle for the development of web-based solutions for their clients;

Proposals preparation. Within the company’s RD&I activities the SW Engineer will take part in the preparation of technical proposals.

REQUIREMENTS
Master or Bachelor Degree in Electronic, Energetic, Management, Computer, Telecommunication Engineer or Computer Science or equivalent;

Up to ttwo (or more) years’ experience in:

Involvement in IT projects in the energy, infrastructure or industry domain;

Analysis and Implementation of Customer’s requirements for IT projects;

System design architecture and integration for IT projects;

Knowledge on testing activities and acceptance/qualification process.

Good technical skillset:

required : ability to create responsive web interfaces;

required : knowledge of Java or Python;

required : knowledge of MySql (or at least another database engine);

required : experience on HTML5, CSS3;

welcomed : experience in agile team;

welcomed : knowledge of Spring Framework;

welcomed : knowledge of Angular;

welcomed : experience on Wordpress and Woo commerce;

welcomed : knowledge and usage of development, project management and team communication tools:
Gitlab, Jira, Trello (or Asana), Slack;

welcomed : some experience in developing web and advertising creativity (landing pages, mini sites, responsive HTML5 banners);

welcomed : knowledge of ML algorithms.

Knowledge of testing and validation activities;

Good team working, communication and interpersonal skills;

Critical thinking, problem-solving and attention to the detail;

Good knowledge of the English language and in drafting project documentation.
