$15/hr. base + $25 per appointment + $250 per closed solar deal

Sun Solar is seeking motivated part-time Solar Canvassers to generate qualified residential solar appointments through door-to-door outreach. This role is focused on identifying homeowners, educating them briefly on solar options, and scheduling in-home or virtual consultations for licensed Solar Consultants.

This is an entry-level role with no selling required - full training is provided! Your job is to set the appointments. Bonuses are paid on completed and closed deals from your appointments.

• Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned neighborhoods
• Identify owner-occupied single-family homes
• Deliver a short, approved solar introduction script
• Schedule qualified solar consultations using Sun Solar’s mobile app
• Accurately log homeowner information and appointment details
• Follow all company policies, canvassing guidelines, and local regulations
• Represent Sun Solar professionally and respectfully at all times

Base Pay: $15.00 per hour

Appointment Bonus: $25 per appointment that completes the consultation

Closed Deal Bonus: $250 per closed solar deal resulting from your appointments

Bonuses are paid after installation milestones are met and subject to quality standards.

• Flexible part-time hours (up to 29 hours per week typically)
• Evening and weekend availability preferred
• Shifts will typically be 3–5 hours

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation and smartphone required
• Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, coachable attitude
• No prior solar or sales experience required

• Ability to walk several miles per shift
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
