Hourly pay rate: $22.00 to $24.00
Schedule:
Nights 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM
The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting products to customer locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Drive truck to established destination to load/unload per customer requirements.
- Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition.
- Maintain driver logs.
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
- Remove snow or other foreign materials from vehicle.
- Operate and maintain trucks.
- Help, mentor, and train personnel.
- Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL License – No manual restriction
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 or more year(s) related experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass and/or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position.
- Learns from directions, observations, and mistakes and applies procedures using good judgment.
- Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Works well with a team, takes direction and follows work rules, as well as takes on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned.
- Read and accurately interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and federal and state regulations.
- Communicate professionally and effectively.
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.
- Flexibility required; able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and 12‑hour shifts.
