• Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents.
• Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patients/residents.
• Provide complete personal care for patients.
• Take and accurately record vital signs.
• Assist and accompany the patient in the admission, transfer and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety.
• Promptly and consistently respond to patient/resident needs.
• Respond to the needs of family members.
• Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and dietary kitchen as needed.
• Assist with ADLs—personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing.
• Provide support to patients and family members.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current Georgia CNA certification required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or long‑term care setting preferred.
