Position Description- Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents.
- Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patients/residents.
- Provide complete personal care for patients.
- Take and accurately record vital signs.
- Assist and accompany the patient in the admission, transfer and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety.
- Promptly and consistently respond to patient/resident needs.
- Respond to the needs of family members.
- Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and dietary kitchen as needed.
- Assist with ADLs—personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Provide support to patients and family members.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Current Georgia CNA certification required.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital or long‑term care setting preferred.
- Medical / Dental.
