Requirements- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pass pre-employment criminal background check
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Hold a valid Georgia Driver's License
- Some basic electrical, HVAC, and plumbing repair experience
Job Duties
This is a general listing of specific job duties and is not all-inclusive. All employees are expected to perform any duties necessary for the mission of the Grady County School System Maintenance Department.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units, including filter replacement and washing units regularly.
- Identify and understand energy conservation materials, equipment, and procedures. Replace correct ballast and bulbs for light fixtures. Work safely around electricity.
- Assist in commercial plumbing repairs, including water source and waste water systems.
- Learn and assist in other maintenance skills as needed.
- Experience in service and repair of air conditioners.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
