A Day in the Life:

The Labor/Utility is responsible for performing general laborer duties to maintain a clean plant area. Additionally, this role is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site’s food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Rotating shift: 7a-7p | 7p-7a

Overtime, call-out availability, weekends/holidays, and rotating shift availability are required

Pay rate: $23.70 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Shovel and sweep product to maintain clean plant area
• Operate hand tools, forklift, bobcat, backhoe and other mobile equipment
• Climb steps/ladders, work in high places and confined spaces
• Work outdoors and in all types of weather
• Work safely and communicate effectively
• Must be willing to train to advance into different job classifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in a plant or similar environment helpful
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a high level of dedication to safety
• Work primarily in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from Supervisor, verbally and in written form
