Senior Accountant; TEMP - Ecommerce

Overview

Our rapidly growing, marketing and e-commerce, health and wellness client is seeking a Senior Accountant TEMP to begin work on several key projects in the accounting department. This may potentially become a permanent role. The Senior Accountant will be required to collaboratively work within the accounting team and assist with the day-to-day accounting department functions, as well as assist on the annual audit.

The candidate will play a significant role in the month end close process as well as be a key member of the new accounting system migration and implementation team.

• Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, and ensure that financial statements are GAAP compliant
• Support accounting operations include accounts payable/receivable, payroll, employee expense reimbursement, tax filings, and financial system implementations/improvements
• Perform, maintain, and help review balance sheet reconciliations for multiple subsidiaries
• Prepare and assist in review of monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
• Ensure proper adherence of internal controls to maintain the integrity over financial reporting
• Work closely with the team on implementing ERP system

• Bachelor's degree (accounting, business, or finance major preferred)
• 3+ years of accounting experience, public accounting experience - highly regarded
• CPA is a plus
