Employment Defense Attorney (Hybrid – Calabasas, CA)

A well-established employment defense law firm is seeking an Employment Defense Attorney with at least 3 years of employment litigation experience to join its Calabasas office. This role offers a balanced hybrid schedule and competitive compensation in a collaborative environment.

The attorney will handle employment litigation matters from pleadings through resolution.

Experience with
advice and counsel is a plus, but the firm is willing to train the right candidate.

Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office (Calabasas) / 2 days remote

• Defend employers in employment litigation matters
• Handle pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances
• Draft motions and litigation documents
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Provide employment advice and counseling (training available)

• Active California Bar membership
• Minimum 3 years of employment litigation experience
• Employment defense experience preferred
• Strong writing, research, and case management skills

• Competitive salary based on experience and billables
• 1,400 minimum billable hours
