Keyholder Role

Purpose:

We are excited to add this critical member to the FEATURE team. The purpose of this position is to assist the Assistant and Store Manager with day‑to‑day operations as well as policy enforcement and efficient task delegation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in delegating recurring tasks to leadership positions.
  • Help create visibility and flow of product, customers and staffing through involvement in every aspect of the store.
  • Policy Enforcement: serve as the first level of authority; ensure all staff stay on tasks and policies/processes are followed; report any violations to upper management.
  • Upkeep Safe/Change: ensure adequate change in safe and maintain monthly safe log.
  • Return To Vendor (RTV): manage RTV tasks and communicate with the Warehouse Manager.
  • Request product: based on in‑store trends, request product from HQ or other facilities and submit for approval.
  • Opening Duties: open cash register, restock from WH, regulate pickwaves, set up POS scanner, put away humidifier (Tues‑Thurs‑Sat), dust shelves and racks, clean tunnel, fitting rooms, cases, front mirror, check supplies, refill shopping bags, refill receipt holders, refresh Shopify app.
  • Closing Duties: address stock management dashboards, close register, complete break sheet, vacuum floor/clean cash wrap, charge all devices, take out trash, straighten shoes/hanging clothes, send end‑of‑day report, turn off music and lights, leave humidifier on and change filter, follow up discrepancies.
  • RA’s: report defective products and ensure they are processed.
  • Exchanges/Store Credit: oversee exchanges and store credit, ensure procedures comply with policy and Deposco entries.
  • Building Sweeps: manage back‑of‑house and floor space sweeps of low‑inventory styles and 90‑day slow movers; verify accuracy before signing off.
  • Client Invoices Follow‑Up: ensure proper processes for invoicing and closing out.
  • Shipment Onboarding: ensure daily shipments are stocked promptly and correctly.
  • Upkeeping Steam Rack: steer apparel steams timely, transfer items to/from steam rack.
  • Daily Cleaning: maintain store appearance for optimal customer experience.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of selling or customer service experience.
  • 1+ year of retail management experience.
  • Sales‑driven, goal‑oriented individual.
  • Positive, high‑energy, friendly, outgoing, engaging personality.
  • Willing to initiate contact with customers and identify their shopping needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills: POS system, Word, Excel, email.
  • Able to lift, carry or move objects up to 15 pounds; use ladders or stairs.
