Whether you come from a plant, agricultural, HGV, automotive, military or similar mechanical background, full training and development will be provided for the right candidate.

The day‑to‑day of this role involves assisting with the maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy quarrying and construction equipment, preparing machines for hire and sale, carrying out inspections, and learning fault‑finding techniques across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and receive ongoing support to develop your technical skills and progress your career.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a genuine interest in engineering, and the desire to learn and develop within a growing business.

• Full training on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Workshop-based role

• Mechanical qualification, apprenticeship or relevant engineering experience desirable
• Background in plant, agricultural, automotive, HGV, military or similar industries considered
• Motivated to learn and develop new skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Based in or willing to commute Caldicot
