Junior Plant Engineer

On offer is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading mobile plant suppliers within the quarrying and aggregates sector. This company is committed to developing its people and is looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join its workshop team. Whether you come from a plant, agricultural, HGV, automotive, military or similar mechanical background, full training and development will be provided for the right candidate.

The day‑to‑day of this role involves assisting with the maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy quarrying and construction equipment, preparing machines for hire and sale, carrying out inspections, and learning fault‑finding techniques across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and receive ongoing support to develop your technical skills and progress your career.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a genuine interest in engineering, and the desire to learn and develop within a growing business.

  • Based in or willing to commute Caldicot
