The role:

Setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines Mikron with 20,000rpm spindles Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances, right first time First-off and in-process inspection Machining precision components across a range of materials for scientific and medical applications Turning capability a bonus there's an idle lathe that would suit an all-rounder happy to split their time We're looking for someone with:
Proven 5-axis milling setting and operating experience Heidenhain controls ideal but a genuinely strong setter/operator on other controls will be considered, as the crossover is quick for a good machinist Ability to read engineering drawings and hold tight tolerances A background in precision, subcontract or high-spec manufacturing Any CNC turning experience a welcome bonus In return:
