Position: HGV Class 1 driver - Days

We specialize in providing comprehensive logistics services, we are hiring multidrop HGV driver to join our pallet network operation based at Caldicot, this requires no nights away and is Monday to Friday with Saturday morning on a rota basis. The company has been running over 50 years and is still very much a family company with 3 generations of Evans family actively involved in the business. The business is ran from various depots around the country and comprises of over 250 trucks and trailers. Responsibilities and Duties For HGV Driver Key Task Requirements Ensure the most direct truck friendly route is taken Ensure the vehicle is safe and fit to be on the road by carrying out adequate daily checks. Work within the tachograph and working time directive laws Able to work on own initiative and part of a team Report any issues effectively and promptly to management Be able to work to a productive nature.

Qualifications and Skills For HGV Driver Key Skill Requirements Full driving licence with C or CE vocation In date driver CPC and digital tachograph Posses good literacy and numeracy skills. Have a reason able level of fitness Presentable, good attitude and polite.
