Youth Care Provider – Overnight
The Idaho Youth Ranch is seeking a Youth Care Provider for overnight service, providing direct supervision of daily living and individualized learning plans for youth in a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility.
MissionWe unite for Idaho’s youth by offering accessible programs and services that nurture hope, healing, and resilience.
Responsibilities- Provide care and supervision to youth residents.
- Help with youth orientation.
- Guide and support youth in carrying out daily activities such as morning routines, chores, homework, meal times, group activities and evening routines.
- Implement behavior support techniques.
- Provide a consistent, safe and supportive environment to help youth manage behavioral and emotional responses.
- Build positive relationships with youth by providing a consistent, supportive presence and engaging youth in ways that demonstrate respect, care and belief in their potential.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Idaho driver’s license or obtain one within 15 days of hire.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Some experience working directly with youth.
- Experience working in a clinical setting providing direct client care.
- Experience working in a youth residential setting.
This position works 5/8-hour shifts from 10:45 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., including one weekend day. The shift comes with a $1.25 shift differential.
