Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Physical Therapist at our facility you will join a team dedicated to serving others and making decisions based on compassion. You will contribute to better outcomes for our patients and the community.
- You will be responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician.
- You will document treatments in a compliant manner and stay current with treatment philosophies and procedures.
- You will assist patients in achieving maximum performance and functioning within their capabilities.
- You will instruct and supervise Students, Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in proper handling and treatment of patients.
- You will participate in department operations, including performance improvement and CQI activities.
- You will attend staff meetings and participate in unit committees (education, quality improvement, etc.).
- You will stay up-to-date with trends in physical therapy and participate in program development and procedural changes as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current State of Idaho Physical Therapist license.
- Certified by APTA as a Physical Therapist.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- Acute and Rehabilitation experience of one year is preferred.
