Description

Attention all Nurse Practitioners: we are seeking independent contractors to provide services to our Military Service members.

We primarily work weekends, with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in Idaho on an "as needed" basis.

We provide Health Readiness Services to meet the medical and dental requirements for maintaining a deployable military force for:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
• Interview service members to identify current and prior medical concerns.
• Address urgent concerns, including behavioral health.
• Document interview results in the proprietary system for readiness classification.

Requirements:

• Active NP license in the state; supervising physician may be required depending on state law.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Preferred: experience in primary care, urgent care, occupational health, mobile medical services, and knowledge of military systems and protocols.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments, extended hours, and various locations, including remote military installations.
• Weekend availability and ability to travel preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and basic computer knowledge.

  diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing medications are not required.
