Job Summary and

Qualifications:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit during the assigned shift. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s vision and values to support an unparalleled patient experience.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Help operationalize nursing strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to improve engagement.
• Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including conflict resolution, policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.

• Registered Nurse (RN).
• Associate Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Three years of applicable experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 60 days of hire.
