• Brake systems and adjustments
• Engine diagnostics and repair
• Aftertreatment systems
• Tire service and replacement
• Troubleshooting a range of Cummins, Bendix, WABCO, and DDDL 8 systems

• Jump start a tractor
• Align headlights
• Replace, mount and dismount tires
• Replace mud flaps, hangers, mirrors, shocks, windshield wiper components
• Adjust brakes, replace linings, drums, cams and bushings
• Use cutting torch and minor welding
• Change oil and grease equipment
  
  Check all fluid levels
• Provide quality repairs and meet time per repair standards
• Maintain compliance to parts procedures
• Follow safety protocols, wear protective gear and maintain a clean work environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Competitive pay: $24–$25/hour based on experience

• Motivated and mechanically inclined
• Experienced with diesel systems or eager to learn
• Equipped with basic tools and a valid driver’s license
• Brake certified (or willing to get certified – we’ll help!)
• High school diploma or GED
• Some class A/B technical school or BOCES experience preferred, or experience working on automobiles, farm equipment, or construction equipment
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage stress
