Primary Purpose

As a Non DOT Driver, your primary purpose will be to load, unload, and safely transport building materials to job sites. You will ensure efficient delivery of materials while upholding the highest safety standards and providing top‑notch customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safety First:
    Commitment to safety is paramount.
  • Masterful Driving:
    Operate DOT‑regulated trucks with confidence and precision.
  • Forklift Expertise:
    Operate a forklift efficiently to handle materials.
  • Precise Placement:
    Arrange materials at job sites according to framers’ preferences.
  • Customer Focus:
    Interact with customers and subcontractors in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Continuously grow knowledge of new products and processes in the building industry.
  • Supportive Team Player:
    Offer support to the crew and foreman.
  • Product Returns:
    Manage product returns for credit efficiently.
Requirements
  • Driver License with a clean driving record.
  • Current Medical Card and ability to work in inclement weather and heavy lifting.
  • Adaptability to changes in the industry.
  • Comfort with tablets and minimal supervision problem‑solving.
  • Strong customer orientation and trust building.
  • Urgency, detail orientation, and excellent organizational skills.
Strongly Preferred
  • Commercial driving and forklift experience.
  • Experience in construction or home building.
