Core French Educator

Position: Permanent Core French Educator Role
Support student achievement as a Permanent Core French Educator for Grades 4-9 with South Shore Regional Centre for Education. This position focuses on high-quality teaching and inclusive practices.

As an integral part of the North Queens Community School team, you will teach Core French to various grade levels while addressing the unique needs of each student. The role prioritizes creating safe learning environments and utilizing assessment strategies for effective education. Continuous professional development is encouraged to improve teaching quality and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct Core French for Grades 4-9 with enthusiasm

• Tailor lessons to accommodate diverse learners

• Use assessments to inform teaching methodologies

• Encourage a positive and engaging classroom culture

• Participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities

Requirements:

• Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification

• Bachelor of Education in Elementary or Secondary Education

• Previous experience teaching French

• Commitment to inclusive education practices

• Current Child Abuse and Criminal Record Checks
