Part-Time English Tutor

Oxford Learning Caledonia is looking for a dedicated part-time English Tutor to help students thrive in their language skills. This role is an excellent fit for those passionate about teaching.

As an English Tutor, you will engage with students directly, using pre-prepared lessons that enhance their understanding of English.

Your role will involve guiding students through the curriculum's intricacies while maintaining a stimulating learning environment. The position requires a commitment until the school year ends and includes evening and Saturday hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach groups of up to 3 students at varying proficiency

• Adhere to specific Oxford Learning teaching methodologies

• Document post-class notes for instructional continuity

• Conduct daily communications regarding student advancements

• Foster a friendly and supportive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent teaching certification

• Background in K-12 teaching or tutoring

• Strong command of English language skills

• Effective multitasking with multiple students

• Available for evening and Saturday shifts
