Become a vital part of the College of New Caledonia Bookstore team in Prince George, BC, as a Bookstore Clerk. Excel in customer service while managing transactions and maintaining stock levels.
In this role, you will provide superior service to students and the community, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Your ability to manage various payment methods and keep the store organized will support daily operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist customers with purchases via Point‑of‑Sale systems
• Process payments including cash, credit, and gift cards
• Perform opening and closing duties accurately
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bookstore
• Complete restocking of items including textbooks
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 6 months experience in customer service preferred
• Proficient in handling payment systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to fulfill job requirements
