We are seeking a reliable and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. This role ensures that sheet metal parts are accurately formed to specifications and meet the company’s quality standards.
Responsibilities- Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to bend, form, or punch sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and measurement tools to ensure accuracy.
- Select proper tooling and dies for each job, and perform adjustments as needed.
- Inspect parts during and after production to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and reporting mechanical issues.
- Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in metal fabrication preferred (willing to train motivated candidates).
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, tape measures, protractors, etc.).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
