The Water Truck Operator must be able to operate a water truck according to project specifications. Primary duties include watering the haul road, maintaining and operating equipment on a daily basis on a washing or crushing plant. This position may include day or night shift work, travel, and overtime and weekend work.
Primary Duties- Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
- Perform general maintenance, repair, and service wash or crushing plant equipment as required or directed by supervisor
- Individual must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
- Use of a shovel to move material will be necessary
- Follows procedures for safe operation of vehicle
- Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
- Perform pre‑shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- M.S.H.A. Part 48 certified
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test
- Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs.
- Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy is required
- Work well in a team environment
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
- Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
