Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day financial operations. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other general ledger accounts
• Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, year-end)
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain and organize financial records in accordance with company policies
• Assist with payroll and employee reimbursements
• Support external accountants with audit or year-end tasks

• Diploma or certification in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage)
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive financial information with discretion
• Familiarity with tax filings (corporate, personal, or GST/HST) will be considered an asset
