Little Warriors is a national, charitable organization based in Alberta, dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of child sexual abuse. We also advocate for, and alongside, survivors of child sexual abuse.

The Little Warriors Be Brave Ranch by Ray LaBonte and Family is a specialized, intensive, trauma‑informed, evidence‑based treatment centre designed to help children who have experienced sexual abuse, as well as their families. The Be Brave Ranch offers a comprehensive one‑year program that combines onsite and outpatient components, developed in collaboration with leading academic and clinical experts in child sexual abuse and trauma care.

The Full‑time Accounting Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across accounts payable, accounts receivable, donations, and general accounting functions. This position also collaborates closely with the Senior Accountant and the Fund Development team to ensure proper recording of donations and issuance of charitable tax receipts in accordance with CRA regulations.

• Process and record all donations in the Salesforce (Little Warriors) database.
• Ensure charitable tax receipts are issued accurately and in compliance with CRA guidelines.
• Prepare and process deposits promptly and accurately.
• Manage credit card donations through Moneris.
• Prepare all month‑end donation deposit reports for reconciliation (credit card, e‑transfers, Stripe, Pay Pal, Benevity, Gift In Kind).
• Upload weekly Canada Helps reports to Salesforce.
• Manage all Moneris accounts (Gateway, Go, Tap/Terminals).
• Manage private insurance billing and invoicing for clinical fee‑for‑service programs.
• Collaborate with the Fund Development team on donation entries, tax receipts, and Salesforce report creation.

• Process and review invoices from vendors and suppliers.
• Verify billing accuracy, obtain required approvals, and ensure timely payments.
• Handle petty cash and cash expense reimbursements.
• Complete Visa reconciliations.

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with GST filing.
• Support month‑end and year‑end reporting processes.
• Assist with AGLC reporting requirements.
• Provide support to the Controller and external auditors during the annual audit.
• Collect and distribute mail from the post office.

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Experience with Quick Books and Salesforce is an asset.
• Strong understanding of CRA charitable receipting requirements.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
