Accountant - Saskatchewan

Accountant. TRS Staffing is partnering with a well‑established organization in the North American steel market to recruit an Accountant to support multiple operations across Western Canada. This is a permanent, full‑time role based in Regina or Saskatoon, SK.

• Manage full‑cycle accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and general ledger across multiple legal entities
• Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
• Review Canadian and U.S. bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition
• Report key financial metrics and reconcile discrepancies
• Complete provincial and federal tax filings
• Support year‑end audits and financial reporting
• Identify and resolve issues efficiently while meeting tight deadlines
• Participate in cross‑training and provide backup support as needed

• Post‑secondary education in accounting, finance, or business
• Minimum 5 years of full‑cycle accounting experience
• CPA designation preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Google Workspace
• Experience with Sage MAS 500, Ceridian Dayforce, or Quick Books (assets)
• Industry experience in construction, manufacturing, or steel fabrication (asset)
• Willingness to travel to other locations as required
