Position: Accountant Role in Western Steel Market
Join a reputable organization as an Accountant through TRS Staffing, located in Regina or Saskatoon, SK. This full-time position supports accounting operations for the North American steel industry.

As an Accountant, you will manage comprehensive accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll, and inventory management, while preparing financial statements and budgets.

Your role will entail monitoring financial metrics, reconciling discrepancies, and fulfilling provincial and federal tax obligations while supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive accounting activities across various operations

• Prepare monthly budgets, forecasts, and financial statements

• Ensure the accuracy of Canadian and U.S. bank reconciliations

• Report on key financial metrics and reconcile issues

• Complete necessary tax filings and year-end audit support

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• CPA designation preferred but not essential

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proficient in Excel and familiar with Sage MAS 500 or Quick Books
