Seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for an in-office role in Downtown Calgary. This contract position offers potential for permanent employment.
Our client is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a 3-6 month contract. Candidates should have at least three years of experience, preferably with upstream oil and gas. You will be tasked with high-volume invoice processing, accurate data entry in the ERP system, and managing outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process over 1000 invoices each month
• Match and verify invoices against purchase orders
• Enter data of invoices into the ERP software
• Mail cheques promptly to vendors
• Review and follow up on all accounts payable items
Requirements:
• 3+ years Accounts Payable experience necessary
• Background in upstream oil and gas industry is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong skills in ERP data entry
• Candidates must reside in Calgary
