Position: Calgary Controller for Project Accounting

In this strategic role, the Controller leads all aspects of accounting and reporting for U.S. operations. You will provide financial leadership while managing project performance and cash flow. Collaboration with Finance Directors is key to ensuring consistent application of accounting policies across entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial close and reporting for U.S. operations

• Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting documents

• Guide construction project accounting and job cost analyses

• Manage cash flow, collections, and working capital processes

• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP regulations

Requirements:

• CPA designation required for this position

• Minimum eight years of relevant accounting experience

• Experience in project-based industries preferred

• Exceptional detail orientation and analytical skills

• Strong skills in MS Office Suite, focusing on Excel
