Financial Reporting Intern at BDO

BDO is seeking Co-op or Intern students to join their Financial Reporting and Insights team in Markham and Oakville from September 2026 to April 2027. You will engage in preparing compilation financial statements, working on income tax returns for clients, and contribute to compliance projects. This position is ideal for those pursuing a degree in accounting while gaining practical skills in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for compilation and review

• Assist in completing income tax returns for clients

• Support tax compliance projects as legislated

• Conduct ongoing accounting analysis and assignments

• Communicate effectively with team members on projects

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accounting degree program

• Knowledge of Quickbooks, Xero, or Sage preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to teamwork and client service

• Excellent communication skills
