Calgary Assistant Controller Position

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing pivotal accounting operations including accounts payable and payroll. Collaborating with the Controller, your insights will aid in month-end reporting and cash management. A strong organizational mindset and experience in accounting systems are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close reporting and reconciliation

• Assist with payroll issues and employee onboarding

• Review accounts payable in Quick Books Online

• Monitor accounts receivable and cash balances

• Submit monthly GST returns accurately

Requirements:

• CPA designation is mandatory

• Two years' experience in accounting

• Advanced MS Excel skills required

• Familiarity with Quick Books Online preferred

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
