Job SummaryWe are seeking a detailed-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
What You Will Be Doing- Perform efficient network utilization monitoring for timely expansion planning.
- Coordinate accounting functions and programs.
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process.
- Prepare month-end journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with annual audit preparations.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Prepare federal, local, and special tax returns.
- Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Perform other accounting duties and support the senior accountant as required or assigned.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Must have a CPA designation or be working towards one.
- Excellent working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Strong organizational and stress management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Good diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to train and manage staff.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
