Position: Accountant at Qualico
Step into an accounting role at Qualico's Regional Office in Calgary, Alberta. This position involves managing accounts, preparing financial statements, and developing internal controls.

As an Accountant reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will handle essential financial activities for the business unit.

Your role entails posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, and investigating discrepancies. You will also support the accounting team with effective communication and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post journal entries for accounts payables and receivables

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations

• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial records

• Develop internal control procedures for the team

• Assist in year-end reviews and budget preparations

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent experience

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

• Strong communication and detail-oriented mindset

• Satisfactory criminal record check
