As a full-time advisor, you will collaborate with various business units to streamline project accounting processes.
Your role will encompass monitoring Authorization for Expenditure submissions and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This position emphasizes the importance of relationship-building within project teams to achieve accounting success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Approve and process AFEs and manage their service dates
• Coordinate project closure and monitor inactive AFEs
• Administer project close out documentation efficiently
• Conduct scheduled training on accounting policies and practices
• Generate regulatory reporting and respond to audit requests
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience required
• Understanding of FERC accounting standards
• Excellent proficiency in Oracle ERP systems
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
