This position requires a diploma in financial management/accounting along with four years of experience. You’ll manage payroll accounting duties, including deductions, benefits, and year-end reconciliation. As the primary contact for audits, your accuracy will help maintain essential records and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer full life-cycle pension payroll with accurate processing
• Perform annual reconciliations and lead year-end submissions
• Act as employer contact for LAPP and ATRF audits
• Maintain payroll deduction records according to Canadian law
• Prepare government filings and payroll related reports
Requirements:
• Completion of a two-year diploma in financial management/accounting
• Four years of relevant payroll experience
• CPA certification completion required
• Understanding of payroll legislation and accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and HRMS technologies
